First trip to Lake Wildwood...

Summer is here...we made our way out to Lake Wildwood today to enjoy the warm, sunny weather.  This was Chloe's second trip out.  We made it out once last year, but quickly decided against it for the rest of the summer because she was crawling around picking up cigarettes and bird poo.  What a difference a year makes...Chloe was bounding around in the sand and the water.  Momma is exhausted (Papa & Nana probably are too), but it was worth all of the smiles on Chloe's face.

Digging in the sand.  Last year Chloe wouldn't even touch the sand.  She didn't like how it felt.
My precious little girl...
Life jackets; so we can be safe!
(All you Dora watchers know what I'm saying.)
Playing with someone else's toy.
Brrrr...that water is cold!
Playing in the sand.
Filling the bucket full of water...
Her first peanut butter & jelly sandwich!  Momma's favorite lunch meal...I was so excited to eat one with her.  I've been waiting for this moment for so long!
Chloe had some sort of weird fedish with ice.  She kept taking pieces out of the coolers and licking them.  I don't know how her little hands were able to hold on to those cold pieces for so long.
More ice please, Papa!

Chloe's 2 Year Pictures

It took me two times, but I finally was able to grab a couple of cute shots of Chloe for her two year pictures.  To ease her into the experience, we took a family shot (Chloe and I).  Then we went ahead and got a few pictures of my little peanut.

The first experience with Chloe took place last week.  Nana and I went over with her and she wouldn't leave my side.  Anytime I set her up for a pose, she would run over to me and start crying.  Of course at this point, no matter how frustrated I was, I had to console her because I didn't want to make her any more upset.  I didn't want red puffy eyes for her pictures.  After about 20 minutes of trying to grab one picture, I gave up.  We rescheduled in hopes we would have better luck in a morning shoot.

The butterflies were turning in my stomach because I was not going to bring Chloe back for a third try.  I figured if we don't get any pictures today, we just won't get any.  I decided to get a few pictures with her in hopes that she would see that it was fun to get pictures taken.  Chloe did a fantastic job for our family pictures.  We moved on to her two year old pictures...she wouldn't sit still!  She was as happy as a busy bee, but just wouldn't sit in a spot to smile.  We had a wonderful photographer and she was able to catch a few quick snaps of my twinkle toes.

I decided against purchasing to huge CD bundle this time so you have to visit the sears website to view the pictures.  Here are the instructions:
  1. Go to http://www.searsphotos.com/default.asp
  2. Email address:  haleyheibe@hotmail.com
  3. Password:  Bruiser44
  4. Then you can select "View" under the picture of Chloe and I to see the pictures from today.  The other picture of Chloe in the yellow dress by the '2' is from when Nathan took her.  Feel free to look at those as well, but they aren't the best.
I'm glad that I was able to get some pictures, but I'm sure happy I don't have to do this for another year!  Enjoy!
