Easter Egg Hunt

Chloe's first Easter Egg Hunt was held this morning in the freezing cold.  I think it was 40 degrees, but the wind chill had to be in the 20's.  She started off slow and I thought that one egg was all she was going to get, but once she realized what she was suppose to do Chloe went a running.

At first, I would get her to go after an egg, but by the time she got there some big kid would pick it up.  She has to learn to be more aggressive...no mercy Chloe!  She got to meet some of the other kids in town and also the Easter Bunny (see picture below).  She was a bit scared of the large white bunny, but she wouldn't take her eyes off him.

After about 15 minutes in the cold, mom and I were ready to go.  We got back in the car and looked through our stash of candy.  Poor Chloe...all they had were chewy candy that she can't eat.  All of that work for nothing.  Better luck next year!

Her first egg.
Finally she figured out the concept as all the other kids were done.

She was better with the Easter Bunny than with Santa.  My question...why is the Easter Bunny wearing a 4th of July outfit?  Weird...

Bruiser just looked too cute on Nana's lap!

Chloe's First Haircut

Aunt Jessica came over tonight to give Chloe her first haircut.  Basically, Chloe got her bangs trimmed up and her ends trimmed.  There wasn't enough cut off to keep so we'll just have to wait on that.  I didn't want the curls to go because I knew once they were cut they would be gone forever.

Chloe was an excellent client...no tears and she sat pretty still.  I was so proud!

Playing Outside...A Sign of Spring!

It reached about 58 degrees today, so the puppies, Chloe, Nana, and I headed outside to burn off some energy.  Chloe had a great time playing with her new Mickey Mouse ball.  She would even take a break and play with the puppies.  I also got out the bubbles and blew some and let her chase them.  That game was short lived though...she had better things on her mind.

Future Cheerleader?

I have been super lucky with Chloe and daycare.  Chloe has a very outgoing personality and has never had any problems making friends.  Most of the time, she is the one to go up and say 'hi' to kids.  Anyway, yesterday when she was dropped off at the sitters she went right in to play with the older girls.  When mom pulled out of the drive (mom had to drop her off that morning), she could see in the window this little blond girl jumping around with pom-poms.  Chloe was imitating the older girls and they were being cheerleaders!  I wish I could have seen it...she is her mommy through and through.

First Pony & Piggy....

FINALLY!!!!  Here are some pictures of her first ponytail and pigtails.  Chloe has some hair to work with, but it is still so fine it is hard to put up.  I just thought she looked so adorable, so here are some pictures of my peanut.
