Future Superstar...

Uncle Heath & Aunt Jessica bought Chloe a bat and ball for Easter.  The weather has finally warmed up enough to give it a try.  Here are a few shots from a few nights ago.  Let's just say...Papa has his work cut out for him!

Lefty...I think that is only because she is holding the bat with her right hand and she wouldn't let it go.
Swing batter, batter, swing!
Say cheese!
Cute little bat girl.
Now she's golfing the ball...yikes!

Easter Festivities!

I was so excited to dress Chloe up in her Easter dress this year.  Last year she had a cute dress, but she wasn't walking so it was hard for us to enjoy it.  This year she twirled around and got all decked out with a necklace, bracelet, and even a little purse (with plastic egg and make-up brush inside).  She just looked way to precious.

We headed up to the Jawor household for Easter.  It was just my mom, Chloe, and I.  Heath and Jessica were already up there.  It was a nice time.  Jan had an egg hunt planned for Chloe and a bunch of toy bunnies for her to play with.  They had plenty of food and it was just a really nice time.

Chloe looking cute as a button.
Sipping out of her chick cup that she got from Heath & Jessica.
Look at that face...
She's a lion...roar!!!!

Easter Morning

The Easter Bunny paid Chloe a visit.  Here are a few pictures from the morning.

Concentrating as she colors in her new Dora colorwonder book.
It's Boots!
Two baskets full of goodies here.
Sidewalk chalk...I can't wait to play with her this spring.  Hopefully the weather starts warming up for longer than a couple of days.
This has to be one of Chloe's favorite games.  She "hides" in the plants and she honestly believes that we can't see her.  My dad will sometimes say 'don't laugh Chloe' and then we hear her start giggling.  It is so much fun...I love it!

The Easter Eggs that never were...

I was so excited this year to let Chloe help out with coloring easter eggs.  I even told mom that I wanted her to help.  Well mom thought that "help" meant that Chloe would watch as we colored them.  I was not too happy.  Chloe did enjoy watching us pull the colored eggs out of the mugs, but I just know that she would have had much more fun joining in...there's always next year.

Play area at mall...

I thought it would be a good idea to let Chloe burn off some energy the other night (man, does she have a lot of it) so I let her play in the mall play area.  I was so surprised to see how easily she was able to climb up the fruit and then slide down.  It was so amazing that she knew what she was suppose to do.  She had a great time and even made some new friends.

Easter Egg Hunt

Chloe's first Easter Egg Hunt was held this morning in the freezing cold.  I think it was 40 degrees, but the wind chill had to be in the 20's.  She started off slow and I thought that one egg was all she was going to get, but once she realized what she was suppose to do Chloe went a running.

At first, I would get her to go after an egg, but by the time she got there some big kid would pick it up.  She has to learn to be more aggressive...no mercy Chloe!  She got to meet some of the other kids in town and also the Easter Bunny (see picture below).  She was a bit scared of the large white bunny, but she wouldn't take her eyes off him.

After about 15 minutes in the cold, mom and I were ready to go.  We got back in the car and looked through our stash of candy.  Poor Chloe...all they had were chewy candy that she can't eat.  All of that work for nothing.  Better luck next year!

Her first egg.
Finally she figured out the concept as all the other kids were done.

She was better with the Easter Bunny than with Santa.  My question...why is the Easter Bunny wearing a 4th of July outfit?  Weird...
