Christmas Eve with the Heibergers...

Christmas Eve was spent with the Heiberger side this year.  We enjoyed some nice conversation, a hearty meal, and a long night of gift giving.  Chloe was the highlight of the evening, but honestly, when isn't she.  It was the first time since her birthday in May that we had the experience of watching her open presents.  This year she really seemed to get it.  Chloe was really dainty when opening the presents though.  She would take one piece off and hand it to one of us to throw away.  Chloe had to make sure that every one of us received a piece of her wrapping paper.  It was just too adorable.

Chloe also like to unwrap the present and then move onto the next without even seeing what she got.  She would also go over to the pile and pick up presents.  She does this with everything though.  Chloe likes to try to pick up object sitting around the house.  It doesn't matter the size or weight...she gives everything a chance.  When Papa was leaving for work in the evening, she handed him his shoes, tried to hand him his "man purse", brought his lunch box over to him, and gave him a kiss.  I just know it melted Papa's heart.

Anyway, we sure did have a wonderful Christmas Eve.  Thanks to the family for making it so enjoyable!
